Oslo In Action(s) is an ongoing research project that shines light on the diverse city-makers and the complex networks that they are part of. People who care for their neighbours and communities through tactical, inventive urban actions and rituals, that stimulate and nurture the commons beyond the boundaries of professional practice.
This digital Atlas is a multilayered investigation that connects OAT’s discourse with the transformations that take place on the city’s ground. It can be experienced by navigating both virtually and physically through a series of audio, texts and images. The aim of the research is to contribute alternative visions on active citizenship and city-making strategies.
forty-five degrees is an architecture and urban design practice based in Berlin, dedicated to the critical making of collective space. Their work aims at investigating the built environment through research and design, across multiple scales and in its social, economical and structural components. In their practice they are interested in collecting protocols and collective approaches and creating inclusive and accessible spaces through careful use of scale, material and design language.
Developed by forty-five degrees for the OAT 20 years jubilee week “Conversations about the city” in collaboration with Future Architecture Platform.
